“A glimpse into the Beachum collection beholds an artistic world of hope, Black joy, reality, and aspiration. Each composition within the exhibition offers a unique story.” (excerpt from the curatorial summary). Join your colleagues in the Hawn Gallery to view the exhibition during the final week before it closes on May 22nd. Engage with the themes of identity, representation, and empowerment, among others in the work of ten contemporary Black artists: Dominic Chambers, Ryan Cosbert, Robert Hodge, Nelson Makamo, Delita Martin, Sungi Mlengeya, Mario Moore, Robert Pruitt, Athi-Patra Ruga, and Ferrari Sheppard.
Informal tour and talk, guests may come-and-go as their schedule permits, complimentary exhibition catalog.

The Jake L. and Nancy Hamon Arts Library features collections and services related to visual, performing, and communication arts, to support and inspire research and performance in Meadows School of the Arts.
