Paul D. Williams is a Professor in the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University and Associate Director of the Security Policy Studies MA Program.
Description:
In this talk, Prof. Williams will summarize how the intensification of great power competition has affected peace operations conducted by the United Nations and other actors. He'll analyze the track record of the world's largest peace operations, assess how great power relations are shaping their future, and then compare current United States, Chinese, and Russian approaches to peace operations around the world.
