Please join us as we host Jessalyn Walker, Director of the Legal Education Police Practices Consortium (LEPPC), to discuss the consortium's approach to addressing policing and public safety issues in the future. The Legal Education Police Practices Consortium is a joint effort by the American Bar Association and over 50 American law schools, to examine issues of conduct, oversight, and police procedure across the nation to help address issues of racial equality and public safety in our justice systems.

The "Deason Discussions Series" is a monthly, virtual program targeted directly toward law students, but open to the entire law school communities and interested stakeholders. These presentations focus on a salient legal issue in criminal justice [reform] and provide a primer for discussion and engagement with the topic(s).
