Please join us as we host Jessalyn Walker, Director of the Legal Education Police Practices Consortium (LEPPC), to discuss the consortium's approach to addressing policing and public safety issues in the future. 

The Legal Education Police Practices Consortium is a collaboration between the ABA and more than 50 American law schools. The consortium examines issues of police conduct, oversight, and police procedure with the goal of addressing racial equality and public safety in our criminal legal systems.

The "Deason Discussions Series" is a monthly, virtual program targeted directly toward law students, but open to the entire law school communities and interested stakeholders. These presentations focus on a salient legal issue in criminal justice [reform] and provide a primer for discussion and engagement with the topic(s).
