The Deason Criminal Justice Reform Center presents our STAR (Small, Tribal, and Rural) Justice Series. This series seeks to highlight an array of distinctive criminal justice issues affecting small, tribal, and rural areas across the United States.
Professor Lauren Sudeall will lead a panel discussion of the conflicts of interests that arise for criminal law practitioners in small towns and rural areas. Panelists will identify common conflicts and explore strategies and innovations to address them.
