Yolanda Grimes Brown is Assistant General Counsel for Sammons Corporation providing legal advice and representation to Sammons Enterprises, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiaries.   Yolanda has been with Sammons for 15 years. Prior to joining Sammons, Yolanda worked as a Senior General Attorney for BNSF Railway Company in Fort Worth Texas and as an Assistant Attorney General in the Transportation Division of the Office of the Attorney General for the State of Texas.  Yolanda holds a BA in English from Hampton University and a JD from Southern Methodist University.  Yolanda is a council member for the Corporate Counsel Section of the State Bar of Texas and has represented the section as a member of the planning committee and as course director for its annual Advanced In-House and In-House 101 CLE programs.  She also serves on the section’s newly formed Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

Dianna Jones is Senior Counsel, Legal Compliance at Uber Technologies, Inc. providing advice on a wide range of legal issues primarily involving anti-corruption compliance matters.  Dianna was previously Region Compliance Counsel - Western Hemisphere at Wood PLC, a global leader in project, engineering and technical services delivery for industries, including oil and gas, mining and environment and infrastructure sectors.  During her 10+ years at Wood PLC, Dianna advised the company on anti-corruption compliance and business ethics matters as well as complex mergers and acquisitions.  Before joining Wood PLC, Dianna was with the international law firm, Greenberg Traurig, LLP, where she advised clients on complex mergers and acquisitions, public and private equity and sports facility project finance transactions, as well as anti-corruption compliance matters.  Dianna is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma (BBA - International Business) and Vanderbilt University Law School (JD).

Jennifer Evans Morris is Vice President – Associate General Counsel, is responsible for litigation at AT&T. Jennifer’s 54-person team covers 37 states in the central and east regions as well as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Her team is also responsible for all corporate litigation for AT&T, including shareholder actions and investigations, SEC investigations, and investment relations litigation, as well as several other national litigation dockets.  Prior to joining AT&T in 2014, Jennifer was a partner at the Dallas law firm Carrington Coleman.  When she left, Jennifer was the head of the Real Estate and Construction Litigation Group and a leader in the Securities Litigation Group.

She was Chair of the Board, and since 2002 has served on the Board, of Community Partners of Dallas, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring safety and restoring dignity and hope to abused and neglected children.  She served on the board of the Dallas Women’s Foundation for the past six years and is a former Texas Young Lawyers Association President and Board Member of the Texas Bar Association.  She is a graduate of SMU Dedman School of Law.

Jason Smith is Managing Director for Elevate Services and current Chair of the State Bar of Texas, Corporate Counsel Section. Jason has over 20 years of experience as a practicing attorney (both firm and in-house) and legal technology consultant. He focuses on emerging technology trends and innovation in the legal profession and has received the Award of Merit from the State Bar of Texas for service to the legal technology community. He’s been a finalist for the ILTA Leadership Award four of the past six years. He also has a passion for Access to Justice and under his leadership, the State Bar of Texas Computer & Technology Section was awarded the Pro Bono Service Award by the Texas Access to Justice Commission. Jason earned his BA from Southwest Texas State University and a JD from South Texas College of Law.
