Branding Management Using Sentiment Analysis

Dr. Tim McDonough (Cox School of Business) will lead off this session by providing an overview of how sentiment analysis has become integral to brand management. Alex Cedra (Director of Social Media SMU Marketing & Communications) provide “real” examples on how sentiment analysis is used in the management of the SMU brand via Social Media.  Toward the end of the session both Dr. McDonough and Mr. Cedra will answer questions as well as discuss the frontiers of brand management via Social Media.
