Building Career-Readiness with VR: Cross-Disciplinary Applications in Pastoral Care, Public Health and Safety, Education, and Multilingual Job Interviews

Join the AR/VR in the Higher Ed Classroom‚ research cluster for refreshments and an informal discussion of current applications of AR/VR tools being used to build and support career readiness outcomes and professional development in SMU Education, Theology, and humanities courses, as well in the Hegi Family Career Development Center. Participants will be invited to share how they are currently using immersive tools in their research, teaching, and centers. The informal conversation will be followed by a demonstration of OvationVR, a platform built to support real-time immersive speaking practice and AI-driven coaching feedback for presentation.
