Andragogy in Action: Upper-Level Courses, Less Grading, More Learning. In-Person / Online
What happens when you stop grading every assignment to the tenth of a point? Traditional grading in advanced courses often gets in the way of the very learning we're trying to promote. This session shares practical approaches, including ungrading and Specs Grading, that put goal-setting and reflection back at the center, with real examples from undergraduate settings.
This session will be led by Dr. Eva Oberdoester, a Fall 2026 CTE Faculty Affiliate.
