DESCRIPTION:This session explores how courses can extend beyond the 
 classroom by integrating SMU’s distinctive resources—its centers\, 
 archives\, museums\, libraries\, and public programming—into their 
 design. Participants will consider strategies for connecting disciplinary 
 learning to the university’s civic and intellectual life\, cultivating an 
 immersive and institutionally engaged student experience.\n\nThis session 
 will be led by Dr. Dallas Gingles\, a Fall 2026 CTE Faculty Affiliate.
