🚨 Lunch and Learn: Think Before You Drink: Alcohol & The Law 🚨 In-Person
Join Sgt. Courtney Morrison (SMU PD) for a practical conversation during Alcohol Awareness Month as we take a closer look at how alcohol shows up in everyday police work. We will walk through the basics of DWI and Public Intoxication encounters, what officers look for when determining impairment, and how alcohol often plays a role in traffic stops, disturbances, crashes, and other calls for service. At the end of the presentation, there will be an interactive activity using beer goggles.
