Observe a Teaching Award Winner - Dr. Alida Liberman In-Person

You’re invited to observe Alida Liberman, recipient of the Altshuler Distinguished Teacher Award, for a session of PHIL 1318.

This course examines moral problems and ethical dilemmas that arise in everyday life, public policy, and global affairs. Students are introduced to major ethical theories and apply philosophical frameworks to contemporary issues such as global poverty, abortion, animal ethics, climate change, and justice.

This is an Undergraduate Level class with approximately 50 students.

The session will focus on John Rawls’s theory of justice, combining lecture and discussion to examine principles of fairness and the structure of a just society.

The instructor will introduce you and provide context for the session.

Please note that you will receive an Outlook calendar invite with the class location after registering. Due to the limited number of sessions available, faculty will only be allowed to register for two Teaching Award Winner Observations per term.
