GameChangers Brunch

GameChangers Brunch In-Person

Celebrate Black History Month at the inaugural GameChangers Brunch, presented by the Office of Cultural Intelligence and SMU Athletics.

This special event honors trailblazing athletes and coaches whose leadership has transformed women’s sports and expanded opportunities for future generations. Featuring nationally recognized leaders including Carolyn Peck—the first Black woman to win an NCAA National Championship—and Adia Barnes, SMU’s Head Women’s Basketball Coach and NCAA Final Four standout, the brunch highlights excellence, resilience, and lasting impact.

Join us in recognizing the continued growth, influence, and importance of women’s sports—both in competition and in society.
