Stop The Bleed Training In-Person
Stop The Bleed is a free in-person training provided to SMU faculty, staff and students to recognize life-threatening bleeding emergencies and how to intervene effectively. In this course, you will learn 3 techniques to help save a life before someone bleeds out:
1. How to use your hand to apply pressure to a wound
2. How to pack a wound to control bleeding
3. How to correctly apply a tourniquet
At the conclusion of the training, each participant will be provided with a certificate of completion.
