Writing a Teaching Philosophy – for Your Students In-Person / Online
This presentation explores how sharing your teaching philosophy with students can foster transparency, build trust, and deepen engagement. By clearly articulating your goals, values, and expectations around teaching and learning, you invite students into the process more intentionally, while lowering the affective filter. Practical strategies for crafting a student-oriented philosophy will be discussed.
This presentation is led by Dr. Gabriela Vokic, a Fall 2025 CTE Faculty Affiliate.
