Working with Diverse Learners

Working with Diverse Learners In-Person / Online

Join us for an insightful session led by Alexa Taylor, Director of SMU’s Disability Accommodations & Success Strategies (DASS) office, covering the essentials of disability access, accommodations, and the process for supporting students with diverse needs. From understanding common and uncommon accommodations to supporting students on the Autism spectrum, rules around service animals, and mental health considerations, this session will provide valuable information for faculty. Bring your questions and feedback— the DASS staff wants to hear from you and identify new ways to better support faculty.
