Join the SMU Staff Association as we celebrate Homecoming by walking in the SMU parade! Bring your family and join the parade! We will be throwing candy to the spectators as we process through the parade route.

See below for important information.

Parade Logistics: 

• Please arrive at 3:30pm at Station 3 on the attached Parade Route Map.  

• The parade will start at 4:00pm.  

• The parade run will be approximately 45 minutes.  

• Please arrive dressed in SMU Mustang colors if you’d like to show your spirit! WEAR BLUE!!

Parade Vehicle Loading and Walker staging: 

• Please proceed to Station 3 on the Parade Route Map.  
• Station 3 is located just North of the Loyd All Sports Center. 
• A detailed Station 3 diagram is attached with the exact location for your vehicle and walking group staging.
• We will provide bags of goodies, including beads and candy, for your vehicle riders to throw for the audience. *SMU Risk Management strongly reminds us to throw candy & goodies as far away from the vehicles as possible to keep the younger audiences from getting into the vehicle path. 

Parade Route:

• The parade will start at Station 5, just north of Meadows Museum, travel north on Bishop and end just south of Perkins School of Theology at a VIP reviewing stand.  

SMU v Pitt Homecoming Game:  

• The SMU v Pitt football game time will be 7:00pm.
