Navigating Life As A Queer Person Student Support Group In-Person
Aika Shinkawa hosts a weekly LGBTQIA student support group called "Navigating Life As A Queer Person" every Thursday from 3PM to 3:50PM in room 255 in the SMU Health Center. Topics covered will include how religious identity intersects with their queer identity, internalized homophobia and transphobia, self-love as an LGBTQIA+ person, dealing with people who are unaccepting, etc.
Students wishing to join must email CounselingServices@smu.edu to begin the screening process.
