Big Challenge Series: Dallas's Living Constitution–The City Charter's Impact and Your Vote In-Person

In collaboration with the City of Dallas, this event brings together a panel of experts to discuss the Dallas City Charter amendments that will be on the November ballot, as well as the history of efforts to change the Charter and the impact of these efforts on Dallas communities. The panel features journalist Jim Schutze, Dallas Deputy Mayor Pro Tem and City Council Member Adam Bazaldua, City Council Member Carolyn King Arnold, and SMU Law Professor Dr. Thomas Leatherbury. 

There will be light food and drinks starting at 6:00 pm. The main program will begin at 6:30 pm. 

This event will take place at the Juanita Craft Recreation Center located at 4500 Spring Ave, Dallas, TX 75210. It is free and open to the public.

Simultaneous Spanish translation will be available.

En colaboración con la Ciudad de Dallas, este evento reúne a un panel de expertos para dialogar sobre las enmiendas a la Carta Constitucional de la Ciudad de Dallas que estarán en la boleta electoral de noviembre, así como la historia de los esfuerzos para cambiar la Carta y el impacto de estos esfuerzos en las comunidades de Dallas. El panel cuenta con la participación del periodista Jim Schutze, el alcalde adjunto pro tem y concejal de Dallas Adam Bazaldua, la concejal Carolyn King Arnold y el profesor de derecho de SMU, el Dr. Thomas Leatherbury. Habrá comida y bebidas ligeras a partir de las 6:00 p.m. El programa principal comenzará a las 6:30 p.m. Este evento se llevará a cabo en el Juanita Craft Recreation Center ubicado en 4500 Spring Ave, Dallas, TX 75210.
