Observe an Award-Winning Teacher: Dr. Alida Liberman In-Person
This session of Dr. Liberman's PHIL 1318 course will focus on moral problems and ethical dilemmas. Moral problems and ethical dilemmas surround us: in our schools and workplaces, in our homes and families, and in the news and politics. In this course, we’ll begin to reflect on ethical problems in a systematic and thorough way. We’ll learn some tools for helping us do this (ethical theories) and use these to grapple with some important contemporary issues we’re faced with, including global poverty, abortion, animal ethics, climate change, justice, and more.
