Strategies for Encouraging Student Reading In-Person / Online
This workshop will model strategies for helping students overcome motivational and other challenges to reading course materials. Participants will practice sample exercises designed to help students appreciate the importance of background knowledge for reading comprehension and engage productively even if they lack such knowledge.
This session is led by Fall 2024 CTE Faculty Affiliate, Dr. Alida Liberman.
