ZOOM ONLY: Just-in-Time Teaching & Technology Grant Showcase Online
In this session, three of the past winners of the Just-in-Time Teaching and Technology Grants will showcase their awards and how they used them in their classrooms. The faculty initiatives showcased are:
- Miroslava Detcheva, World Languages & Literatures, featuring Nearpod & Quizlet
- Alejandro D’Brot, Biological Sciences, featuring Human Fossil Replicas
- Bradley Warren, Applied Physiology & Sport Management, featuring Timing Systems
The Just-in-Time Teaching and Technology Grants (JiTTT) is a partnership between the Center for Teaching Excellence and the Academic Technology Services team. This program will provide small grants (up to $500 each) to faculty from across campus when they need it most — at the start of the semester.
The goal of this grant program is to reduce the barriers to faculty acquiring needed materials or technology for their classrooms. We want to help by providing funding at a critical planning point for the semester. It is our hope that this program will support your efforts to improve SMU's teaching quality.
