Observe an Award Winning Teacher: Dr. Maryann Cairns In-Person
Observe Dr. Maryann Cairns, a 2022 President's Associates Award winner, instruct the 15-30 students enrolled in her ANTH 3319: Humanity & Gobal Environmental Change class. This undergraduate class session will cover waste and waste management, social conceptualizations of waste. It will include a short lecture, discussion, discussion groups, call and response. Note: only one person may register to observe this class session. You will receive the classroom location after registering.
Course description: ANTH 33119 examines interaction between human populations and their environments. Explores relationships among population size, technology, climate, and behavior in various living societies worldwide. Particular attention to current environmental problems.
