ZOOM ONLY: Assessing to Inform and Empower Online
UPDATE: This session will be offered in Zoom only.
Students bring different levels of knowledge and skills to the classroom. Therefore, it is critical to use classroom assessment to support students in getting where they need to be. In this session, participants will learn about the theory and practice of formative assessment to empower students. Participants will learn about sharing learning goals, gathering information about learning, interpreting this information, and offering effective feedback. These strategies will help students know where they need to be and what they need to do to get there.
This session will be led by Fall 2023 CTE Affiliate Dr. Karla del Rosal. Cookies and coffee will be served.
