Sharaka (’Partnership’ in Arabic) present with dialogue and powerful storytelling speakers that reflect the rich diversity of the Middle East, featuring individuals from Morocco, Bahrain, the UAE, and Israel, including both Arab and Jewish Israelis.
Speakers:
Tamer Masudin (Israel): Tamer, 27, is an Israeli Bedouin and a graduate of Reichman University. A Fulbright scholar currently pursuing an MBA at Brandeis University, Tamer is a former journalist, educator, and pro-Israel advocate. His journey exemplifies resilience and the power of education in building bridges of understanding. Tamer’s work focuses on fostering coexistence and creating opportunities for dialogue and collaboration across cultural divides.
Fatema AlHarbi (Bahrain): Fatema is a trailblazer as the first Bahraini youth to visit Israel with Sharaka's inaugural delegation. A Ph.D. candidate in business management and leadership, Fatema is also an accomplished author of five fiction works that advocate for women’s rights in the Arab world. A former athletics champion, she is a committed peace advocate whose dedication to fostering understanding and coexistence inspires others to envision a better future.
Errachid Montassir (Morocco): Errachid is a passionate advocate for sustainable development and peacebuilding. He has led transformative projects across Morocco and internationally, empowering youth and fostering community-driven change. His work emphasizes the importance of education and collaboration in addressing social and economic challenges. Errachid’s dedication to creating positive change reflects the spirit of partnership and inclusivity that defines Sharaka.
Alyssa Annis (Israel): Alyssa serves as Sharaka’s Holocaust Program Coordinator, leading groundbreaking historical education projects aimed at fostering dialogue and understanding in the Arab and Muslim world. Her commitment to Holocaust education and remembrance has opened doors for meaningful conversations about shared histories. Alyssa’s work highlights the power of education and storytelling in promoting tolerance and combating extremism.
